SOUNDWAVES CHRISTMAS exists for two simple reasons:

1. To support our neighbors during the holiday season.

2. To entertain the hell out of you, in exchange for the aforementioned support.

From Groovy good time rock and roll and some of the best live acts in the Bay Area, to the TV singing debut of a veteran Hollywood star, a Boston-based songstress, and the wild antics of Johnny Legend … this year’s Soundwaves Christmas has something for everyone! Here is the official list of performers (in alphabetical order to be fair) scheduled to rock our stage on December 11th!

	Groovy Judy puts a new face on the late 60’s, early 70’s sound that made the Bay Area what it is. From the songwriting influences of Sly and The Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, to touches of the melodic Beatles sound, San Francisco’s own brings forth her dominating style with the energy of some of today’s most known artists. 	Director, rockabilly singer, trash film historian, wrestling manager — modern-day Renaissance man Johnny Legend has truly done it all, including co-writing and producing the popular novelty song “Pencil Neck Geek” for wrestler Fred Blassie. Johnny teams up with the mighty Chuckleberries for a rockabilly set that promises to tear the roof off!  CHECK OUT A SNEAK PREVIEW
	Popular actor Marc McClure is known to movie fans as Jimmy Olsen in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies and Dave McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy. The veteran performer (and Bay Area native) is also a singer-songwriter and will make his musical television debut on 22x!
	ATFL is a high energy alternative rock band from the South Bay area of Morgan Hill and Gilroy. This five man group – all ranging in age from 15 to 21- is made up of good friends who enjoy rockin’ hard together!  They collaborate to write their own material but still like to throw in a few cover tunes. 	Kevy Nova is an accomplished musician and an incredible humanitarian.  His (now) annual 24-hour Guitar-a-Thon has raised over $18,000 for the American Cancer Society. 	Popular songwriter and performer Carla Fleming has been called one of the best lyricist in Northern California, if not the world.  Her debut album Domestic Disturbance has garnered several hits.  This year, Carla will perform a holiday classic!  Check her out at carlafleming.com.
	If you like your country “old school,” you’re gonna love T.B. Slick!  He’s a Bay Area mainstay, having worked with everyone from Bill Graham, Earl Scruggs and Skip Spence (Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape).  His latest musical adventure is The Legendary T.B. Slick Revue.  This year, he brings fellow Revue guitarist Randall Scott Rhodes for a stripped-down acoustic set.
	Ian Butler isn’t just a comedian, he’s a multi-format provocateur!  And he’s serious about playing rock and roll. Ian returns to Soundwaves Christmas with his new band, the Humpbacks, for an irreverent set of smart, unforgettable tunes that will invariably make someone ask, “Did he just say what I thought he said?”
